  • Upon arrival, you'll be asked to complete a confidential health history form. We’ll then discuss your health concerns and goals, so we can create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs, whether it's a single session or an ongoing treatment plan. I'm here to guide you and support your wellness journey every step of the way.

Your comfort is my top priority, so throughout the session, I'll make adjustments as needed - whether that’s with the amount of pressure applied, therapeutic tools, temperature, or music preferences. Everything is considered to ensure your experience is as relaxing and effective as possible.

During the treatment, you’ll lie comfortably on the massage table. For Reflexology and FMT treatments, only shoes and socks need to be removed. For body treatments, it’s ideal to be undressed to allow for the most effective work, but I will always ensure any areas not being treated are appropriately covered. Ultimately, the choice is yours, and I’m happy to adjust based on your preferences.

The session is designed to promote deep relaxation, so if you happen to drift off to sleep - as many people do - feel free! If you’d prefer to chat or have any questions, that’s perfectly fine too. This time is for you to release tension, rest, relax, and heal in a space that’s entirely your own.

  • The number of treatments needed depends on your specific health concerns and progress. Chronic conditions generally take longer to resolve, while acute issues may improve in just one or two sessions.

If you're looking for relaxation or stress relief, one or two treatments per month may be sufficient to support your well-being. For post-operative recovery, I typically recommend weekly sessions for the first three to four weeks, with follow-up treatments adjusted based on your individual progress. Ultimately, each treatment plan is tailored to your needs, and we’ll adjust as we go along to ensure you’re on the path to optimal health.

Post-Operative Care

  • The timing of post-operative treatments depends on your surgeon’s advice and how well your healing is progressing. Generally, treatments can begin gently around three weeks after surgery.

During your initial visit, we’ll discuss your concerns and expectations to create a treatment plan tailored to your recovery. You’ll be asked to fill out a confidential health history form, and I may suggest specific exercises to aid recovery.

In the early stages, treatments focus on calming the body and mind to reduce the trauma response. Gentle massage and reflexology techniques help with relaxation, stimulate circulation, and reduce swelling and discomfort.

As your healing progresses, more vigorous techniques can be applied, especially for loosening stiff joints or breaking down scar tissue. For optimal results, I typically recommend weekly treatments for the first three to four weeks. However, the journey is unique to each person - some individuals may experience significant improvements after just one session, while others may need more time.

  • No, the treatment should not cause pain. However, some discomfort may arise, especially post-surgery or in areas of congestion where muscle tension or adhesions are present. If any areas are tender, I will always work within your comfort level and adjust the pressure as needed. Your comfort and safety are my priority, and the treatment will be tailored to suit your needs.

Understanding Bodywork

  • Bodywork encompasses a wide range of holistic therapies that integrate more than one modality of therapeutic massage, touch or manipulation to promote overall wellness and support the body’s natural healing abilities. Some of these modalities include: acupressure, acupuncture, auriculotherapy, craniosacral therapy, Feldenkrais Method, massage therapy, osteopathy, physical therapy, reflexology, kinesiology, remedial therapy and various other methods.

A skilled bodyworker helps release both physical and emotional tension, some of which may be stored subconsciously within the body. Emotions, memories of pain, and trauma can often remain trapped, even if the conscious mind doesn’t register them as feelings. These blockages can hinder the body’s ability to heal. Through targeted bodywork, these congestions can be released, promoting healing, relaxation, and improved well-being.

  • I work with individuals from all walks of life, addressing a wide variety of health and wellness concerns. Many clients seek relief from pain-related issues, including neck, back and shoulder pain, headaches, muscle pain, and post-operative discomfort.

I also specialise in foot and ankle care, helping with conditions like plantar fasciitis, ankle instability, joint stiffness, bunions, and recovery after surgery.

Other common concerns I help with include anxiety, depression, digestive disorders (including IBS), IVF and fertility support, TMJ disorder, vertigo and sleep disorders.

Beyond addressing specific issues, I also help clients maintain their overall wellness routine by reducing stress and tension, and promoting a balanced, vibrant mind-body-spirit connection.

  • If you’re unsure whether I can help with your specific concern, feel free to reach out for a chat. I’m happy to discuss your needs and provide a clear idea of how we can work together to support your health journey. Your privacy and confidentiality are always respected.
