FOOT MOBILISATION THERAPY (FMT)
FMT is a gentle method of manual therapy that helps relieve restrictions and pain in the feet / ankles. FMT can loosen tight muscles / ligaments and increase space within a joint capsule, improving mobility within a joint, whilst decreasing pain, swelling and stiffness.
FMT involves the use of repetitive passive movement, along with corrective exercises, to stimulate the body’s natural repair systems, helping to restore mobility and function of the feet / ankles and other associated parts of the body.
Some of the conditions FMT can help you with:
Reducing discomfort and pain
Freeing up stiffness in feet / ankles
Improving circulation
Post-operative foot / ankle re-habilitation
Breaking up adhesions
Plantar fasciitis
Aching feet, heel pain
Bunions
Hammer / claw toes
Ankle instability
Arthritis
